In Her ShoesLast night I stayed up late to watch In Her Shoes. I had seen it before, but I watched it anyway. Maybe it is the sister story line or the fact that it takes place in Philadelphia, but I do secretly enjoy the movie.

There is not too much to say about it, but it does make me think of my sister. Of course, my sister doesn’t resemble Maggie’s character at all, but she does live in Philly.

Update:  I got a request to add more about In Her Shoes.  I don’t have more to say about the movie, but… one time I read one of the author’s other books Good In Bed.  I heard her talking on NPR and thought she sounded interesting so I bought the book.  I was embarrassed to read it on the subway because it was bright pink.  I can’t say I recommend it.  It is one of those stories that you are supposed to relate to because the main character is overweight and she learns to empower herself through a brush with celebrity and pain… minor pain in the grand scheme of things.
